Claressa Shields keeps adding to her GWOAT résumé.

“The Greatest Woman of All Time” scored a blistering second-round knockout Saturday in Detroit, needing less than five minutes to put away Vanessa Lepage-Joanisse.

Watch the finishing sequence below.

After an uneventful first round, Shields (15-0, 3 KOs) turned up the heat in Round 2 and battered Lepage-Joanisse with a combination to score a knockdown. Shields confidently marched forward on the rest and quickly put Lepage-Joanisse on her back again. At that point, the end was all but written and all it took was one more right hand from Lepage-Joanisse to secure the TKO.

The official time of the stoppage as 1:09 into the second round. This is Shields’ first KO/TKO win since 2017.

The heavily favored Shields was actually the title challenger heading into this matchup as she moved up to 175 pounds to take on WBC heavyweight champion Lepage-Joanisse (7-2, 2 KOs). A vacant WBO light heavyweight title (also contested at 175 pounds) was also on the line. Shields now adds those belts to a trophy case that includes undisputed reigns at middleweight and light middleweight.
