Jairzinho Rozenstruik defeats Shamil Gaziev by TKO (referee stoppage) at 5:00 of Round 4
Jairzinho Rozenstruik leaned on his experience to get himself back into the win column, handing Shamil Gaziev the first loss of his career in Saturday’s heavyweight main event.
Gaziev was solid early, pressing forward, closing the distance, and eventually dragging Rozenstruik to the canvas, but the veteran kickboxer stayed calm, got behind his jab, and turned the tides. Slowly, but surely, “Bigi Boy” busted up the undefeated prospect with a quick, stinging jab and the odd sharp low kick, keeping the fight upright and in space for the remainder of the contest.
