It’s been three months since Francis Ngannou relinquished the UFC heavyweight championship and left the promotion in search of greener pastures through free agency, but so far nothing is doing.
At first, many observers seemed excited by the prospect of what might come next – in boxing or MMA – for Nganou, but the narrative appears to be shifting. Just last week, BKFC chief David Feldman said Ngannou is asking for “unrealistic money,” Chael Sonnen trashed Ngannou in an interview with MMA Junkie Radio, and Michael Bisping questioned where Ngannou is getting his advice from.
