Round 1 – Hughes immediately looking to pressure Amorim. Amorim comfortable backing up. And Amorim shoots for a takedown and gets it! She transitions to Hughes’ back. Hughes defends well and gets back up, but she’s now being pressed against the cage. Amorim looking for the takedown and gets it. Three minutes left. Amorim gets the back once again. She threatens with a rear-naked choke. It looks tight but, Hughes escapes. Amorim still with back control, but Hughes is on her feet. Another rear-naked choke attempt by Amorim.
