Bonfim on the fight’s key moment
“(There was) no pressure at all. There was maybe a little pressure on (Dana White’s) Contender Series, but when I was waiting for the curtains to open (to walk out), there was no pressure there. Then when the curtains opened, I saw everyone and I was still no pressure. I knew what I had to do. I had to go out and do my thing. So no pressure.”
Bonfim on watching brother Ismael win first
“When I saw that beautiful knee, I said, ‘Yeah, I’ve got to go out there and do something.’ I’m happy I got the quick submission.”
Ismael Bonfim on what he and his brother want next
“We want to be back fighting as quick as possible. We’re going to go back home, talk to our manager, (and) see what’s coming up. We’re healthy – no injuries – so we just want to get back out there as quickly as possible.”
