Dustin Poirier wants Nate Diaz to come back for one more fight so he can ‘beat the sh*t’ out of him
Former interim UFC lightweight champion Dustin Poirier and Nate Diaz never got to square off inside the octagon, although they were scheduled to fight in 2018.
The two were slated to face each other at UFC 230 in November 2018, but an injury forced Poirier out of the fight. A match between the two was briefly discussed earlier this year, but didn’t come to fruition.
Diaz fought out his UFC contract at UFC 279 in September and is a free agent. Poirier would like him to return for one more fight.
“Come back for 1 fight and I’ll beat the shit outta you bruh @NateDiaz209,” Poirier wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.

Poirier is coming off a submission win over Michael Chandler at UFC 281 on November 12. He’s battling a nasty staph infection, but would gladly face Diaz. Diaz is coming off a submission win over Tony Ferguson in his last outing.
