The officials for the next UFC pay-per-view main event are set.
A five-round welterweight bout between Nate Diaz and Khamzat Chimaev sits atop UFC 279, scheduled for Sept. 10 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
On Tuesday at its monthly meeting, the Nevada Athletic Commission selected the referee and three judges.
Referee

The NAC chose veteran referee Marc Goddard to officiate the bout. Other referees in consideration were Mike Beltran, Herb Dean, Mark Smith, and Jason Herzog. Goddard will make $2,500 for the bout.
Judges
The NAC chose veteran judges Derek Cleary, Sal D’Amato, and Ron McCarthy to judge the bout. Michael Bell, Doug Crosby, Junichiro Kamijo, and Chris Lee also were in consideration. Each judge will make $2,000.
