UFC London Live Results: When, Where, and Who?

UFC London takes place on Saturday, July 23, at O2 Arena in London. The UFC London fight card is topped by a heavyweight contenders bout.

UFC London main event: Curtis Blaydes vs. Tom Aspinall

Currently sitting at No. 4 in the UFC heavyweight rankings, Curtis Blaydes (16-3, 1 NC) has long been knocking on the door to a title shot, but hasn’t been able to force his way through. An impressive victory in London keeps him in the thick of things and could mean a title shot if the chips fall his way.

Tom Aspinall (12-2) is undefeated in his five trips to the Octagon, having defeated the likes of Alexander Volkov, Sergey Spivak, and Andrei Arlovski in his last three bouts. He is ranked No. 6 in the division heading into the UFC London main event, looking for the biggest win of his career to claim Blaydes’s standing in the heavyweight class.

UFC London co-main event: Jack Hermansson vs. Chris Curtis

No. 8 ranked middleweight Jack Hermansson (22-7) had been booked for a high profile battle with British banger Darren Till in London, but Till fell out because of an injury. He now looks to rebound from a loss to Sean Strickland against late replacement Chris Curtis.

Curtis (29-8) is unblemished in his three Octagon appearances, but hasn’t faced the likes of Hermansson yet. Unranked in the middleweight division, a victory over Hermansson would announce Curtis’s arrival as a player in the 185-pound weight class.
