The UFC Vegas 46 weigh-in took place today (Jan. 14) from inside the same venue as Saturday night’s event, the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. All 20 fighters on the 10-bout card took to the scales starting at 12 noon ET, and surprisingly there were no hiccups as all of them hit their marks. Including the card’s main eventers.
The event is headlined by a matchup of top-10 featherweights when fourth-ranked Calvin Kattar returns after a year away to face surging eighth-ranked talent Giga Chikadze. The booking features two of the best strikers in the division and is likely to produce some serious stand-up fireworks.
UFC Vegas 46 also includes a battle of top-5 former contenders at women’s flyweight in Katlyn Chookagian vs Jennifer Maia, and a men’s flyweight featured bout between action fighter Brand Royval and Rogerio Bontorin.
The card begins at 5 pm ET with preliminary action and is then followed by the main card at 7 pm ET. The entire event will air exclusively on ESPN+.
