Tyson Fury KOs Deontay Wilder in the eleventh round of trilogy bout
Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs) floored an exhausted Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs) for the third time in the fight in the second to last round, and the referee stopped the bout at 1 minute, 10 seconds of the eleventh.
Wilder had knocked down Fury twice earlier in the fight.
“I’m made of pig iron and steel, baby,” Fury said after the fight, crediting Wilder as being the “second best” heavyweight in the world. “I’m not gonna make any excuses. Wilder is a tough fighter, he gave me a real run for money tonight.”
The pair fought to a split draw in their first fight in 2018, with Fury recording a seventh-round technical knockout in February 2020.
