LAS VEGAS – Nate Maness beat Tony Gravely with a second-round TKO Saturday on the main card at UFC Fight Night 192 in Las Vegas.
Take a look inside the fight with Maness, who nearly was finished late in the first round, but rallied for a knockout in the second.
Maness on the fight’s key moment
“I think it was just a flash knockdown (at the end of the first round). I was out and then I came back to. It was just one of those things. It was the first time in my life I’ve been dropped. Hat’s off to Tony. It really didn’t hurt. It kind of just shut the lights off. It came back on and it was one of those things I was still in the fight and ready to go. If anything, I think it brought out the brawler in me and let me open up a little more.”

Maness on his post-fight moment with Gravely
“Tony is a class act. I knew that all week. We had a couple interactions with each other and he’s a really good guy. It’s tough to lose, and I just kind of wanted to be there for him. I’m not a big, ‘Hahhh, I beat you’ kind of guy. It was just one of those moments between fighters.”

Maness on what he wants next
“Maybe December, middle of December, something like that, and then start fresh next year. I definitely need one more (this year). Me and (Adrian) Yanez have been calling each other out, but I know he just booked a fight with Davey Grant. Sean O’Malley likes fighting unranked guys, so I’m here. Anybody the UFC wants to see me against, I’m down. I don’t think there’s any bad matchup you could put me in there with.”
