In a back-and-forth affair at UFC Vegas 34, Ignacio Bahamondes pulled out a knockout with seconds left in his bout with Roosevelt Roberts.

Lightweights Bahamondes and Roberts went after each other for three rounds, and it seemed like “The Predator” was getting the better of the clash as he bloodied and swelled up his opponent’s face. However, with just seven seconds left in the fight, the Chilean unfurled a spinning back kick to the head of his foe that went undefended and put Roberts to sleep then and there.
It was an unexpected and stunning end to the bouts.
The victory for the Dana White’s Contender Series contract winner was a bounce back after a split-decision loss to John Makdessi in April and his first win inside the Octagon.
After winning two straight, Roberts has now lost two of his last three and is winless since May 2020.
