Bellator brings fans back in June
Today, the California-based promotion officially announced that a limited number of tickets would go on sale for fans to attend both Bellator 260 on June 11, and Bellator 261 on June 25, inside the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. Tickets for the upcoming events will be made available on May 21, with prices starting at US $60.
The promotion has not had fans in attendance for an event since Bellator 240 in February 2020. The organization was hit as hard as any by the COVID-19 pandemic and lost several planned events do to venues and whole city’s being shut down as the pandemic raged throughout the country.
Bellator 260 is headlined by a welterweight clash, as reigning champion Douglas Lima returns to the division to defend his title against fast-rising and unbeaten “Dynamo” Yaroslav Amosov. The follow-up event two weeks later will feature an interim-heavyweight title bout as American Timothy Johnson does battle with Russia’s Valentin Moldavsky.
