A lightweight fight has been added to Bellator 258.
Former LFA lightweight champion Bryce Logan and Germany’s Alan Omer have been booked against one another on the May 7 card, which takes place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., a promotion official recently told MMA Junkie.
Logan (12-5 MMA, 0-2 BMMA) was unsuccessful in his return to Bellator in November when he lost a split decision to Georgi Karakhanyan. Prior to that defeat, Logan had won three straight fights, including an LFA title-clinching performance against Jacob Rosales.
Omer (24-5 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) made two UFC appearances in 2014 and 2015. He lost both fights, but has since rattled off six straight victories. He made his promotional debut at Bellator 248 this past October when he defeated Ryan Scope via first-round TKO.
The Bellator 258 main card will air on Showtime after prelims on MMA Junkie.
With the addition, the Bellator 258 lineup includes:
- Champion Juan Archuleta vs. Sergio Pettis – for bantamweight title
- James Gallagher vs. Patchy Mix
- Josh Hill vs. Raufeon Stots
- Henry Corrales vs. Keith Lee
- Johnny Eblen vs. Daniel Madrid
- Weber Almeida vs. Johnny Soto
- Bryce Logan vs. Alan Omer
