‘My Bad’

MMA news

Kevin Holland suffered a rib injury during his UFC 307 fight against Roman Dolidze, part of the “Pereira vs. Rountree Jr.” pay-per-view (PPV) card last weekend in Salt Lake City. The bout was stopped and “Trailblazer” got (unjustly) creamed by critics for his decision to quit.

Then came a flood of fan hate on social media.

“Can’t have a response to everyone but yeah I feel like a total piece of sh*t,” Holland wrote on Instagram (via MMA Junkie). “My bad to all the [ones] who put some bread on the line or told they friend I was gonna win. Ima p*ssy.”

Anyone questioning Holland’s heart should watch this fight.

“We took the L last night,” coach Bob Perez added. “Rib injury while escaping. Could not continue. I called the fight. It sucks, but was the right thing to do. Thank you for the love.”

Holland (26-12) has now dropped three of his last four.
