UFC 300 lived up to the hype and more on Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, with the milestone event seeing eight of 13 fights inside the distance.
One of those finishes came in the main event, where Alex Pereira (10-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) dropped and stopped Jamahal Hill (12-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) in the opening round to defend his light heavyweight title for the first time.
The co-main event saw Zhang Weili (25-3 MMA, 9-2 UFC) outpoint Chinese countrywoman Yan Xiaonan (15-4 MMA, 8-3 UFC) for a unanimous decision to retain strawweight gold, while the biggest highest of the night came from Max Holloway (26-7 MMA, 22-7 UFC), who claimed the BMF title with a mind-boggling last-second knockout of Justin Gaethje (25-5 MMA, 8-5 UFC).

The UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance payout for the event totaled $460,000.
Gaethje and Jiri Prochazka earned $300,000 UFC 300 fight-night bonuses. Holloway earned two bonuses for $600,000.
UFC 300 drew an announced attendance of 20,067 for a live gate of $16,500,000.
Betting favorites went 10-3 on the card.
