DWCS Week 5: Mick Parkin stuns with submission of Eduardo Neves

The UFC has reached the official halfway point in the 10-week so of Dana White Contender Series and this week’s show is headlined by a heavyweight clash between Mick Parkin and Eduardo Neves.

The heavyweights were swinging hard at the opening bell knowing they needed to show something special to impress UFC president Sana White, especially after three of the previous fights ended in finishes. Parkin, with UFC fan favorite Paul Craig in his corner slammed Neves to the canvas, finding the submission quickly, likely earning that contract.
