Dana White: ‘Paddy Pimblett has that Conor McGregor vibe’
Rising lightweight star Paddy Pimblett has gained a lot of notoriety in his three fights inside the UFC octagon.
“The baddy” has earned Performance of the Night bonuses in each of his octagon appearances. He’s brash. He’s outspoken and entertaining and reminds UFC president Dana White of a certain Irishman that took the fight game by storm in 2013.
“To talk about championship stuff right now, it’s a little too soon, but he’s got that Conor McGregor vide when he walks out,” White said during the DWCS 1 Post-fight Press Conference. “The way that fans receive him. The way that the media covers him.”
