An exciting middleweight fight has been rebooked for an upcoming UFC Fight Night event.
Kyle Daukauswill meet Roman Dolidze on June 18. The event does not yet have a confirmed location or venue. Both Daukaus (11-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) and Dolidze (9-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) announced the matchup on social media which was first reported by Setanta Sports. The fight was previously set to take place in November, however, it was scratched due to COVID-19 protocols.
Daukaus, 29, is on the heels of a first-round, buzzer-beating submission victory against Jamie Pickett at UFC Fight Night 201 in February. The finish earned him a Performance of the Night bonus, as he bounced back into the win column following a loss to Phil Hawes and a no contest result against Kevin Holland.
Dolidze, 33, will look to keep his winning ways together as well, coming off a unanimous decision win over Laureano Staropoli in June 2021. After a year away from action due to heath issues, Dolidze has the opportunity to make it two wins in a row.
With the addition, the June 18 lineup includes:
Julian Marquez vs. Wellington Turman
Roman Dolidze vs. Kyle Daukaus
Phil Hawes vs. Deron Winn
