Robert Whittaker Israel Adesanya Ufc 243 Official Weigh Ins
The UFC 271 weigh-ins take place today at 12 pm ET, from inside the fighter hotel near the venue of the event, the Toyota Center in Houston, Tex. The 30 fighters on the card will head to the scales looking to make their bouts for tomorrow night official.
Headling the 15-bout card will be a colossal clash in the UFC middleweight division. As division king, Israel Adesanya looks to defend his title for a fourth straight time when he takes on the challenge of former champion Robert Whittaker, in a rematch of their scrap from 2019. A booking “The Last Stylebender” won by second-round technical knockout.
In the co-main event, power-punching fan favorites Derrick Lewis and Tai Tuivasa will clash in a bout too big to go the distance. The Aussie goes for a fifth straight knockout victory while “The Black Beast” will aim to maintain his spot near the front of the heavyweight rankings.
UFC 271 kicks off with early preliminary action at 6 pm ET on UFC Fight Pass and ESPN+. The core prelims follow at 8 pm ET on ESPN and ESPN+. Then the main card pay-per-view — for $74.99 — begins at 10 pm ET exclusively on the ESPN streaming service.
