Khaos Williams says Baeza TKO was a good stoppage: 'People die in the ring'

LAS VEGAS – Khaos Williams beat Miguel Baeza with a third-round TKO Saturday on the main card at UFC Fight Night 197 in Las Vegas.

“As a fighter, being in there, you never really want to give up. But you live to fight another day. You’ve got to trust your coaches and trust the referee. You take certain shots like that – people die in the ring, you know. It was a good stoppage.”

Williams on people underestimating him

Williams on what he wants next

“I’m about to be back in the gym Monday, most likely. … Just little minor injuries, but I’d say two or three months at most. I’m hungry, man. I’m ready to get back in there and just keep adding more Ws and keep testing these chins out. I look at everybody the same. I don’t really look past anybody – I look through everybody.”
