The UFC 268 weigh-ins kicked off today at 9 am ET/6 am PT from inside the fighter’s hotel in New York City. The 28 competitors on the 14-bout card hit the scales looking to make their matchups official for tomorrow night inside Madison Square Garden.
UFC 268 is headlined by a welterweight title fight pitting reigning champion Kamaru Usman (19-1) against top contender, and former interim titlist Colby Covington (16-2), in a rematch of the pairs UFC 245 classic two years ago. The co-main event also features another championship rematch. When strawweight queen Rose Namajunas (10-4) runs it back with former champion Zhang Weili (21-2) in a rematch of their title bout from April.
The main card pay-per-view will open with a monumental matchup in the lightweight division. As rivals, Justin Gaethje (22-3) and Michael Chandler (22-6) face off with the winner becoming a front runner to earn a 155-pound title opportunity next.
The Nov. 6 event kicks off at 6 pm ET with the early preliminary card on streaming service ESPN+. The core prelims start at 8 pm ET and will simulcast on ESPN+ and ESPN News. That is then followed by the main card PPV starting at 10 pm ET exclusively on ESPN+.
