UFC 268: Usman vs. Covington – How to watch and stream, plus expert analysis

MMA news

Kamaru Usman will defend his welterweight championship in a rematch with Colby Covington on Saturday in the main event of UFC 268.

That fight is just one of two title bouts on the card at Madison Square Garden in New York. In the co-main event, Rose Namajunas will defend her strawweight belt against the woman from whom she took it earlier this year, Zhang Weili.

And in a much-anticipated feature bout, Justin Gaethje and Michael Chandler meet in a clash of lightweight contenders.

Usman (19-1) has won 18 fights in a row, the last four of them defenses of the 170-pound championship he won in 2019. He is No. 1 in the ESPN pound-for-pound men’s rankings.

Covington (16-2), whom ESPN ranks No. 3 at welterweight, had won seven in a row leading into the loss to Usman. He earned another shot by finishing former champ Tyron Woodley in September 2020.

Namajunas (10-4) has won five of her last six bouts, most recently a first-round TKO of Zhang in April that made her a two-time champion. Namajunas is No. 3 in the ESPN pound-for-pound women’s MMA rankings.

Zhang (21-2), who is ranked fifth pound-for-pound by ESPN, had won 21 in a row prior to the loss to Namajunas.

The main card will be on pay-per-view, which can be purchased here.

The five-fight PPV card will begin at 10 p.m. ET, and the action will start at 6 p.m. ET with early prelims on ESPN+, followed by prelims at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN News and ESPN+.
