Dana White’s Contender Series Season 5, Week 10 results: Two fighters awarded UFC contracts
Dana White’s Contender Series wrapped up its fifth season on Tuesday at the UFC Apex with a five-fight card that resulted in two fighters being awarded UFC contracts.
In the fight card’s main event, lightweight Maheshate defeated Achilles Estremadura by unanimous decision after facing adversity early in the fight. With the win, the 21-year old Chinese fighter earned a shot in the UFC.
Only one other contract was handed out on Tuesday. Welterweight Yohan Lainesse scored a first-round knockout over Justin Burlinson and punched his ticket to the UFC.
