ESPN, Max Kellerman goofed by aired video of Nate instead of Nick Diaz (Video)

It’s pretty bad when the UFC’s broadcast partner and the worldwide leader in sports, ESPN, can’t even get the name or face of the fighter right. ESPN’s Max Kellerman did a bit of an intro about the Robbie Lawler vs. Nick Diaz fight before interviewing UFC president, Dana White on his show. Only he called Nick, Nate. Which let’s give him the benefit of the doubt, could be an honest mistake. It’s been years since Nick has fought and Nate might have just been a slip of the tongue.

But then the video package aired.

And it was all video of Nate.

This means they honestly have no idea who is fighting on Saturday night.

And that’s a big uh-oh for the UFC’s broadcasting partner.

And MMA Twitter was not going to let the mistake go unnoticed.

This isn’t even the first time ESPN has messed up the two brothers. Ahead of Nate’s fight with Conor McGregor graphic’s attributed the fight to Nick.

Let’s hope these kinds of mistakes don’t make it to air on Saturday night.
