Devin Clark offers positive update after teeth pulled back into place following UFC Vegas 37 injury

Devin Clark appears to be doing better after looking like he might lose his teeth on Saturday.

In the co-main event of UFC Vegas 37, Clark lost a lopsided decision to Ion Cutelaba and while he made it to the distance with the heavy-handed Moldovan, it looked like the fight might have been stopped between rounds when it became apparent that Clark’s mouth was in bad shape.

At the evening’s post-fight press conference, Cutelaba expressed that he wasn’t “happy” seeing the damage he’d done to Clark’s teeth. On Sunday, Clark provided an update on his situation when a fan asked about his condition on Twitter, sharing a picture of his mouth with the caption, “Much better.”

Clark also offered an update via an Instagram story in which he explained that he had to wear temporary braces.

“They were able to pull the teeth back kind of into place temporarily now,” Clark said. “I’ve got temporary braces. A little better, a little better. Doing alright though. Thank you all for your love and support.”

The extent of Clark’s injury is not yet known, though further information will become available when the UFC Vegas 37 medical suspensions are released later this week.
