
The final hurdle in this latest Ultimate Fighting Championship fight week is here with the UFC Vegas 35 weigh-ins. The competitors on the 12-fight card took to the scales inside the UFC Apex at 12 pm ET/9 pm PT. All but one of the 24 fighters that weighed in hit their marks.
Bantamweight Mana Martinez missed the 136-pound grace limit by a stunning four pounds. Martinez will have to fork over 30% of his fight purse and the fight will proceed at a 140-pound catchweight.
The card is headlined by a matchup between top-10 featherweights, and top-shelf strikers in Edson Barboza and Giga Chikadze. The event also features the middleweight and bantamweight finals for season 29 of The Ultimate Fighter.
UFC Vegas 35 takes place on Aug. 28, inside the UFC Apex, and will kick off at 7 pm ET on ESPN+. Main card action follows at 10 pm ET and will simulcast on ESPN and ESPN+.
