BOCA RATON, Fla. – Vitor Belfort is firing on all cylinders.
The former UFC heavyweight champion showed off his good form and boxing skills in front of the media at Thursday’s open workouts ahead of his professional boxing return against Oscar De La Hoya.
The two combat sports legends are set to meet in the headlining act of the Triller Fight Club event on Sept. 11 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif.
Belfort, who turned 44 in April, has not fought since UFC 224 in May 2018 when he lost to fellow former champ Lyoto Machida. The Brazilian has one professional boxing fight under his belt, having knocked out Josemario Neves in his boxing debut back in 2006.
