Video: Bobby Nash wants future fight with Mike Perry, proud to carry XFC flag

MMA Fighting

Since parting ways with the UFC, Bobby Nash has found success and a newfound perspective on the sport of mixed martial arts.

“Nashty” is set to return to action this Friday at XFC 45 when he faces Quinton Parks Jr. in a welterweight matchup. The event takes place at the DeltaPlex Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich. and will air on Fox Sports 2.

The 31-year-old Michigan native is riding a three-fight winning streak, all first-round finishes, after an 0-3 run in the UFC in 2017.

Ahead of his third promotional appearance, Nash joined MMA Fighting’s Mike Heck to discuss the matchup with Parks—a late switch after his original opponent was forced to withdraw—and explain why the fight is intriguing, the lessons he learned after his UFC run, finding love for MMA in a different way, fatherhood changing him, his hope XFC goes to the next level, wanting a future fight with Mike Perry, and more.
