A bantamweight tilt featuring the winner of “The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America” in Alejandro Perez vs Johnny Eduardo is being planned for a UFC Fight Night event in October.

According to MMAJunkie, Perez is booked to face Eduardo on the promotions scheduled card on Oct. 2.
Citing sources, the report links the fighters on the undercard of an event expected to be headlined by a battle of Brazilian’s at light heavyweight when Thiago Santos faces off with Johnny Walker. No venue or location has yet beendetermined for the card.
Eduardo, 42, last entered the Octagon in June 2018. He’s 3-4 in the organization and 28-12 overall in mixed martial arts.
Perez won UFLA in 2014 and has a 21-8-1 record overall, including a 7-3-1 mark in UFC.
Testing positive for COVID-19 forced Perez to scratch his previous scheduled bout in October 2020. He was in the midst of a seven-fight unbeaten run before losing consecutive bouts to Cody Stamman and Song Yadong in his last two Octagon appearances.
