With Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier scheduled to meet for the third time at UFC 264 on July 10, a new promo centered on the adversity both fighters have faced and overcome serves as latest teaser to one of the most highly anticipated fights of the year.
Narrated by “Sons of Anarchy” actor Ron Perlman with words provided by the famous speech “The Man in the Arena” from President Theodore Roosevelt, the new promo showcases the highs and lows that both fighters have been forced to endure over long careers.
When they meet again in July it will be McGregor attempting to bounce back after he suffered his first knockout loss in mixed martial arts after Poirier put him away with punches back in January.
That fight served as vengeance for Poirier, who had previously fallen to McGregor back in 2014 when both fighters were competing at featherweight.
Now this latest promo hypes up the attention being paid to the trilogy where McGregor and Poirier will look to settle their business once and for all.
