Condit Vs Griffin Added To UFC 264

MMA news

Former UFC interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit will make his return to the Octagon for a 170-pound showdown against well-traveled veteran Max Griffin at the upcoming UFC 264 pay-per-view (PPV) event, scheduled for July 10 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

That’s according to MMA Junkie.

Condit (32-13), who turned 37 back in April, recently won back-to-back fights for the first time in over eight years, notching unanimous decision nods over Court McGee and Matt Brown, respectively.

As for the 35 year-old Griffin (17-8), he captured a pair of consecutive wins of his own, stopping Ramiz Brahimaj at UFC on ESPN 17 before planishing Kenan Song at UFC on ESPN 21 just a few months later.

Fun fight.

UFC 264 will be headlined by the rubber match between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor. Elsewhere on the card, Gilbert Burns and Stephen Thompson hook ‘em up at 170 pounds, while Jessica Eye returns to flyweight action opposite Jennifer Maia.
