Light Heavyweight Grand Prix Rolls On
There will be two more opening round fights for the Light Heavyweight Grand Prix at Bellator 257, when former UFC contender Corey Anderson welcomes Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov who makes his promotional debut. The winner of this fight will move on to face Ryan Bader in the semi-finals.
Tonight’s main event will feature a rematch as champion Vadim Nemkov faces former champion Phil Davis who is not only looking to avenge his loss but also reclaim his title as well. The first time these two met, Nemkov won by split decision. Since their first fight, Davis has gone on to win three consecutive fights while Nemkov has won five straight, including his title capturing fight against Bader last year.
