Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) crowned a new heavyweight champion in the UFC 260 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, which took place last Sat. night (March 27, 2021) inside APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. Francis Ngannou ended Stipe Miocic’s reign with a thunderous combination of punches in the second stanza.
In the UFC 260 co-main event, former welterweight champion Tyron Woodley continued his 170-pound free fall, losing by first-round submission to streaking contender Vicente Luque. Elsewhere on the card, Sean O’Malley starched bantamweight veteran Thomas Almeida while Alonzo Menifield tapped out Fabio Cherant in the opening frame.
