Roman Faraldo is set for his second Bellator appearance.
At Bellator 255, Faraldo (4-0 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) will return to take on a 6-foot-7 fighter Trevor Gudde in a welterweight preliminary matchup, a promotion official informed MMA Junkie.
Faraldo, 27, entered the national spotlight at Bellator 252 in November when he took a page out of mentor Jorge Masvidal’s book and finished Pat Casey with a flying knee. The fight was Faraldo’s Bellator debut and his fourth stoppage due to strikes in as many professional appearances.
Nicknamed “The Scarecrow,” Gudde (2-1 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) is one of the tallest welterweights in MMA history. Gudde debuted on the same card as Faraldo, Bellator 252 in November. Against Khonry Gracie, Gudde also won via knee and punches. The win was one of MMA’s top 10 biggest betting upsets in 2020.
Bellator 255 takes place April 2 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. and airs on Showtime.
With the addition, the Bellator 255 lineup now includes:
